We all know that Donald Trump doesn’t like to be criticized. He’s also not a fan of facts. So the recent polls conducted by numerous outlets proving he is hugely unpopular would no doubt get under his skin.
Of course, rather than address the reality of the situation we all know exactly what to expect from Trump and he did not disappoint. The president of the U.S. took to Truth Social yesterday to air his complaints against pollsters at The New York Times, ABC, The Washington Post, and the Fox News pollster. Despite the latter being a favorite of Trumps for many years, it seems not even Fox News can hide the facts any longer.
Donald Trump’s deranged rant
Trump wrote a whole paragraph accusing the outlets of… well it’s not exactly clear what he’s accusing the outlets of. Lying, making up poll numbers, election fraud, it’s a bit of everything really. Basically, you shouldn’t believe the overwhelming amount of pollsters reporting on Trump’s low approval rating because these are “unheard of numbers unless looking for a negative result.”
The president went on to outright accuse these outlets of being “criminals” that were partaking in election fraud, “These people should be investigated for ELECTION FRAUD.” Does Trump realize he already won the election? How do polls from the current istration affect the election?
This is just another case of the president not being able to face the truth. Trump will find any excuse to avoid taking responsibility, or itting that he is wrong. Just look at how he handled the tariff situation. Donald is downright delusional and anyone who believes him over the cold hard facts is just as crazy.
Is the president losing his mind?
The rest of Trump’s rant is self-aggrandizing nonsense because the man just can’t get enough of himself. He points to his election win last year, claiming, “I WIN ELECTIONS BIG.” That may be the case, but his actions since have turned a lot of his own ers against him. He may have had the majority of Americans behind him six months ago but everything that has happened since then has demonstrated how much of a bozo he is, of course his approval ratings are going to drop.
He also drew attention to how well he’s doing with the border, “99.9% at the Border, BEST NUMBER EVER!” But this is just more nonsense. What does he even mean by that? 99.9% what? He’s just making up numbers. Is he sundowning? Some people have speculated he might really be losing it and it’s difficult to disagree.
Just another day of the president’s lies going completely unchecked and without any sort of consequence. Trump can lie to himself all he wants, but people in the U.S. are slowly starting to realize the truth — the truth is, they elected the biggest idiot in the country’s history.
