UK Trailer For Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes

Despite the terrible title, Rise of the Planet of the Apes could be the highlight of the late summer. With most of the blockbusters looking to be bombastic, brainless and full of boredom (I'm looking at you Transformers: Dark of the Moon), this one at least looks to have some level of invention and creativity behind it.

Despite the terrible title, Transformers: Dark of the Moon), this one at least looks to have some level of invention and creativity behind it.

This new trailer shows a whole bunch of footage we haven’t seen before and only serves to further the anticipation. I really do think this will be one of the summer’s best blockbusters and I really hope that the trailer we’ve been seeing are an accurate representation of how the movie will turn out.

The film comes out on August 5th and works as a prequel to the franchise, which explains how Earth became over run with super intelligent apes. It stars James Franco, John Lithgow and Frieda Pinto.
