Soon after Marvel lifted its social media embargo, opening the floodgates to Avengers: Infinity War fast approaching, surely Coogler has reserved one (or maybe both!) of the film’s endgame stingers for Joe and Anthony Russo’s pic?

Of course, Thanos needs no introduction, and Marvel’s executive producer Nate Moore has stressed that Black Panther very much stands on its own two feet. It’s only another seven days until the official review embargo lifts, so we’ll likely get some definitive answers once the Internet opens its doors to some long-form Black Panther critique.

Wakanda beckons, dear readers! And you’ll be able to deep dive into the rich world of Black Panther when Marvel’s spinoff opens Stateside on February 16th. Word is it’ll collect around $120 million across its four-day opening weekend, though after last night’s social media embargo, we wouldn’t be all that surprised if that same forecast was readjusted to $150 million. Watch this space for more.
