Pedro Pascal calls out ‘disgusting’ J.K. Rowling a ‘heinous loser,’ dashes hopes he will ever be Harry Potter’s godfather

Another celebrity Rowling would probably like to apologize to her.

Castings for Warner Bros.’s Harry Potter remake series are in full swing, with many prominent characters already having a new face. However, some major roles are still up for grabs, particularly those of Harry’s godfather, the former Azkaban prisoner, Sirius Black. While J.K. Rowling.

Pascal has long been a vocal and strong er of the LGBTQIA+ community, especially since his sister came out as a trans woman in 2021. He has not held back from bashing and loudly calling out anyone who let their mediocre mentality and regressive opinions to attack transgenders. So, imagine what his response was when J.K. Rowling openly celebrated the decision of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom that declared transgender women would not be considered legally women?

Well, it would be an understatement to say he didn’t hold back.

Post her X update, an Rowling’s “” for women is limited only to cis women and not all women, thus prompting an emotional and righteous answer from the Star Wars actor.

“Awful disgusting S–T is exactly right. Heinous LOSER behavior.”

The wider Harry Potter fandom had – with difficulty – dissociated Rowling from the Wizarding World, refusing to let her narrow and frankly, regressive mentality taint their memories, associations, and love for the universe she created, but their love allowed to thrive even decades after the books and the movies came out. But WB actively collaborating with the author on the series and actually boasting about it has pushed even more fans to distance themselves from the franchise.

Of course, as Rowling has pointed out numerous times, the ionate hatred her shameless bigotry continues to attract will not make a dent in the royalty checks she will cash in for years. Similarly, Pascal and a number of other actors criticizing her won’t lessen the pool of actors willing to work in the series. But this negative publicity restricted the boundaries of the success that the video game, Hogwarts Legacy, was supposed to achieve. The Rowling controversy blew up long after it was announced. What I am wondering is how this brewing displeasure with the author will affect the series when it comes out in the next few years, because based on Rowling’s antics, she has no plans of ceasing her onslaught of vitriol.

Well, we can rest assured about one thing. Rowling has suggested in the past that she would forgive the likes of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, etc, who slammed her for her views if they apologized. That’s never happening, and she can now add Pedro Pascal to that list.
